Cookie policy

Mendmate keeps cookies and browser storage to the minimum needed to run the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What we store

Name	Type	Purpose
mendmate_token / mendmate_user	Local storage	Keeps shop staff signed in to the dashboard. Cleared on sign-out.
mendmate_portal_token	Local storage	Keeps a customer signed in to the customer portal after using a magic link.
Stripe	Third-party cookies	Set only on pages where you enter card details, for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.

These are strictly necessary for the service to function, so no consent banner is required for them under PECR. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for consent first.

Managing cookies

You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out.
