Honest answers.

When can I actually buy it?

Target ship: Q3 2026 (July–September). Waitlist members get 14-day early access and the £999 launch price. Public price after launch may rise.

Why pre-orders before it's built?

Honest answer: to prove demand and prioritise. Building a desktop app is 2–3 weeks of solo work. If 10+ shops want it, it ships first. If not, we focus on the cloud version. Waitlist costs you nothing and locks in £999.

What does "lifetime licence" mean, exactly?

You own your copy forever. v1.x updates (every bug fix and feature in the 1.x line) are included for the first year. After year 1 you can either: (a) pay £99/year Care for ongoing updates + email support, or (b) skip it — your install keeps working, just no new features. Major version (v2.0) is a separate upgrade with a discounted price for existing owners.

What about my data backup?

You own backups. We provide a one-click "Backup now" button that exports an encrypted snapshot to Dropbox, iCloud Drive, OneDrive, or any folder you pick. Set it to nightly and forget it.

Can I sync between cloud and desktop?

Not at v1. If demand is there, sync is v2 (Q1 2027). For now, pick one — they're separate accounts.

Mac, Windows, Linux — really all three?

Yes. Built on Electron with code-signing for Mac (notarised) and Windows (EV cert). Linux ships as an AppImage. Tested on macOS 13+, Windows 10/11, Ubuntu 22.04+.

What about card payments?

Stripe payments need internet (no way around that). When the internet's down, fall back to "mark paid — cash" or "mark paid — card (taken on terminal)". Tickets, POS, invoices, printing all work offline.

How do I join the waitlist?
